하나의 원형만 있는 게 아닙니다 –

아들이 다양한 아버지로부터 아버지로서의 삶을 배우는
클럽.

미션

아비부 소개

아비부는 서울을 기반으로 한 부자(父子) 공동체로, 아버지와 아들 사이의 유대감을 더욱 깊게 만드는 것을 목표로
합니다. 한국 사회에서는 여전히 가부장적 규범이 아버지와 아들의 관계를 규정하고 있으며, 이는 종종 두 사람
사이에 보이지 않는 벽을 형성하곤 합니다. 이러한 문화적 배경 속에서 아버지와 아들은 서로에게 어떻게 행동하고 무엇을 표현할지 신중하게 고민하게 됩니다.

안전한 대화의 장

아비부는 매달 열리는 모임을 통해, 죄책감이나 판단 없이 아버지와 아들 사이의 진정성 있는 대화를 나눌 수 있는
안전한 공간을 제공합니다. 이 모임에서는 다음과 같은
주제에 대해 이야기합니다:

아버지가 된다는 것의 의미
아버지가 되기로 결심하게 된 계기
아버지로서 어떤 사람이 되고 싶은지에 대한 바람

이러한 대화를 통해 우리는 말과 행동 뒤에 숨겨진 진짜
의도를 서로 이해하고자 합니다. 왜냐하면 우리의 의도는 때로는 쉽게 오해될 수 있기 때문입니다.

다음 세대를 위한 연결

아비부는 아버지와 아들 사이에 더 깊고 진정성 있는
연결을 만드는 동시에, 다음 세대의 아버지들에게
**"아버지가 되는 방법은 단 하나가 아니다"**라는 중요한 메시지를 전하고자 합니다. 또한, 그들의 여정에 도움이
되는 정보와 지지를 제공하여, 각자가 자신만의 방식으로 좋은 아버지가 될 수 있도록 함께

MISSION

About Abibu

Abibu is a father-son community based in Seoul, South Korea, dedicated to strengthening the bond between fathers and sons. In Korean society, patriarchal norms still heavily shape this relationship, often creating emotional distance or invisible walls between the two generations. As a result, both fathers and sons tend to be cautious in how they behave and what they express with each other.

A Safe Space for Honest Dialogue

Through monthly group meetings, Abibu provides a safe, supportive environment where fathers and sons can engage in open, guilt- and judgment-free conversations. These discussions explore topics such as:

What it means to be a father
What inspired their decision to become a father
The different ways men choose to embody fatherhood

We believe that through these conversations, both fathers and sons can begin to understand the intentions behind each other's words and actions, which are often misunderstood.

Reimagining Fatherhood for the Next Generation

By building stronger, more empathetic connections, Abibu hopes to challenge the idea that there is only one way to be a father. We aim to empower the next generation with meaningful dialogue, support, and information that can guide them along their own unique journeys into fatherhood.

이 프로그램은 12세에서 19세 사이의 아버지와 아들을
위한 모임입니다.

남자아이들은 ‘아버지가 된다는 것’이 어떤 의미인지,
그리고 단순한 사회적 역할이나 생물학적 이유가 아닌,
왜 아버지가 되어야 하는지에 대해 고민하고 배우며
인격적인 아버지가 되는 법을 익힙니다.

한편, 아버지들은 자신의 말과 행동이 아들에게 어떤
영향을 미치는지 성찰하고, 아들의 욕구를 더 잘 이해하고 지원하는 방법을 배웁니다.

이러한 상호적인 배움의 과정을 통해, 한국의 아버지와
아들은 함께 부성(父性)에 대한 새로운 패러다임을 형성해 나갈 수 있습니다.

WHO IS THIS FOR

This program is designed for fathers and sons between the ages of 12 and 19.

Sons are encouraged to explore what it truly means to become a father, learning to embrace fatherhood as a meaningful choice, not just a social expectation or biological outcome.

Fathers, in turn, reflect on how their words and actions influence their sons, and learn ways to better understand and support their sons' needs.

Together, through mutual learning and growth, fathers and sons in Korea can begin to reshape the paradigms of fatherhood.

남자아이들을 위해

자라서 어떤 사람이 되고 싶은지 스스로 생각해보는 시간을 가집니다.
기본적인 덕목 몇 가지와 그 덕목을 실천하는 방법을 배웁니다.
재미있으면서도 남자다운 활동을 통해 인격을 함양합니다.
인격을 함양하고 있는 또래 친구들과의 우정을 쌓습니다.

아버지들을 위해

아들과 함께 즐거운 분위기에서 의미 있는 시간을 보냅니다.
덕목에 대해 더 깊이 이해하고 표현하는 방법을 배웁니다.
아들이 그 덕목을 자연스럽게 익힐 수 있도록 도울 방법을 알아봅니다.
아들과 더 깊은 주제에 대해 대화를 나눌 기회를 만듭니다.

WHY DO WE DO IT?

For the Boys

To begin thinking about what kind of men they want to become.
To learn essential virtues and how to live them out.
To build character through fun and masculine activities.
To form friendships with other boys on the same path of growth.

For the Fathers

To enjoy meaningful time with their sons in a fun setting.
To better understand and articulate key virtues.
To learn how to support their sons in developing character.
To open up deeper conversations with their sons.

무엇을 하나요?

총 2시간 동안 진행됩니다.

환영 인사 | 10분
서로 인사를 나누고 어색한 분위기를 풀며 알아가는 시간입니다.

재미있는 활동 | 30분
보드게임이나 카드게임처럼 아빠와 아들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 가벼운 활동으로 에너지를 발산합니다.

소그룹 활동 | 30분
나이에 맞는 소그룹으로 나뉘어 준비된 주제를 바탕으로 토론합니다.

신체 활동 | 60분
아빠들과 함께하는 신체 활동: 스포츠, 자전거 타이어 펑크 수리, 모형 로켓 조립 등 다양한 활동을 통해 협력과 배움을 경험합니다.

마무리 간식 & 친목 시간
간단한 간식과 함께 아빠와 아들들 간의 자연스러운 교류의 시간을 가집니다.

What Do We Do?

We meet for 2 hours.

Welcome | 10 minutes
A time to say hello, break the ice, and get to know one another.

Fun Activity | 30 minutes
Light and fun games for dads and sons to loosen up — such as board games or card games.

Breakout Sessions | 30 minutes
Dads and sons split into age-appropriate groups to discuss pre-planned topics.

Physical Activity | 60 minutes
Hands-on, active time with dads — including sports, fixing bike flats, or building model rockets.

Closing Snack & Social Time
Everyone winds down with snacks and relaxed conversation among fathers and sons.
